I've been a massage therapist since 1997, working in private practice and as part of a multidisciplinary clinic that include acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy and massage therapy. It was here that my love of massage as an integral part of health care took root.
I've been an active member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and the North Carolina chapter for my entire career.
I believe that massage does not have to hurt to bring improvement. I bring more than two decades of experience in massage therapy to every session and I adapt my techniques to your unique needs. When you come to a session, I want you to have a calming, effective and friendly experience. There is no one massage method that works for everyone, so I listen to what you want and need and then customize your session for optimal benefit.
I believe massage is not only helpful for the relief of pain--but also for overall wellness and energetic balance.
